Our visit to Oktoberfest in Munich-Germany

Our journey to the fest.
We leave Allershausen and head to Munich,a 1 hour ride by taxi-then,take the tram to Theresienwiese  which is two stops away from Munich train station.Right across the road, a 5 minute walk and we are at  Oktoberfest,the famous beer fest,held yearly.
In 2010 it was held from Sept 18 - Oct 4.Actually,2010 marked 200 years of oktoberfest fest and a 'historical Oktoberfest'

Charming Allershausen-Germany

Hello everyone

Today I"m in Florence ,Italy.I"m SORRY I couldn"t blog sooner as I was traveling through small towns ,most had no WiFi. My travels so far have been wonderful,lots of photos coming up just as soon as I reach a hotel with WiFi.Oktober fest was super.
